Since 1978 we have built high-performance products for sport. The sport of professionals, of races, of margins measured in seconds.

We started from the artisanal production of football and cycling shoes made by Federico Zecchetto. From there we built a supply chain that today includes sports footwear, carbon fiber bikes and technical apparel: for our own brands and for some of the most important brands in the world.

  1. 1978 — Diamant is born — Federico Zecchetto stitches his first football and cycling shoes and signs his first collaboration, for Diadora. It's the year an artisan workshop chooses to become a company.
  2. 1982 — Gruppo Zecchetto is born — That experience becomes a system: Gruppo Zecchetto takes shape, created to unite manufacturing, research and product development under a single method.
  3. 1986 — DMT is born — After years spent building for others, the group's first own brand arrives: professional cycling footwear carrying the shortened name of the parent company.
  4. 1997 — The agreement with Nike — A strategic collaboration to design and develop football boots for Nike's stars: it consolidates the role of international partner on high-performance products.
  5. 2002 — Sportek d.o.o. is born — In Bosnia and Herzegovina we consolidate our manufacturing presence in the country — begun in the '90s thanks to an insight of Federico Zecchetto — with a company wholly owned by Diamant that becomes the production hub for all the group's supply chains.
  6. 2009 — MCipollini is born — From the meeting between Federico Zecchetto and Mario Cipollini comes a carbon bike brand designed around the experience of the strongest sprinter in the world.
  7. 2014 — Alé is born — Within APG Srl, Alé is born: a new own brand of the group dedicated to technical apparel for professional cycling.
  8. Today — An integrated ecosystem — Research, product development and manufacturing to design and build high-performance solutions: an end-to-end industrial process, an expression of the craftsmanship that defines the group.

How we work

From research to production. A process built to evolve, from study to industrialisation.

We're not just a supplier: we're the ones who conceive the product, develop it, industrialise it and bring it to market. We combine Italian craftsmanship precision with the most advanced technologies to create products that unite function and quality, with cutting-edge materials and excellent design.

We grow with method: we invest in machinery, research and people before the market asks us to, and we would rather say no to oversized growth than lose quality and control over the process.

Discover our know-how

  1. Discovery

    The project is born in our R&D Lab in Italy, in Bonferraro di Sorgà. We study the product together with the client and the professional athletes who will use it in competition: they are the first to put every insight to the test.

  2. Prototyping

    From idea to prototype: we design, choose the materials, build the first model and test it in the field. DMT's Engineered 3D Knit technology, for example, took 18 months of development before entering the range.

  3. Quality control

    Every stage is checked: from cutting the materials to autoclave curing, from sanding to the final inspection. For carbon, the process involves nine tracked steps, one by one, before shipping.

  4. Industrialisation

    The project validated in Italy enters production in our facilities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, where we oversee the entire process: from stitching to packaging, through to the product ready for distribution.

    Bonferraro di Sorgà, Verona

    The parent company. Here we design, develop, purchase and manage logistics. We produce DMT-branded cycling footwear and third-party footwear for Nike, Crocs and Decathlon.

  • Diamant Compositi

    Poggibonsi, Siena

    We develop and produce high-performance composite components, combining research, innovation and advanced manufacturing.

  • Sportek d.o.o.

    Kotor Varoš, Bosnia and Herzegovina

    The industrial heart of the Group: here most of the industrialisation of footwear, carbon components and apparel takes place.

  • APG S.r.l.

    Sorgà, Verona

    We produce technical apparel and textile solutions for sport. Alé brand.

  • Axolute

    We develop technologies, automation and process innovation to tackle the challenges of tomorrow's manufacturing.
